Ad Overkill

Revolutionary RoadWow. Today’s Arts section of the New York Times has a 9 page ad in it for the new Leonardo DiCaprio/Kate Winslet outing, Revolutionary Road. That’s right, 9 pages.

Sure, the movie has an awful name and sounds really boring, but is that what it takes to get people to go to the movies these days? I mean, I’m trying to read my morning paper, not overdose on ad garbage. 9 pages, people.
9 consecutive pages….
